1COMPOSITION ABOUT MYSELF
This course helps learners gain confidence in introducing themselves and writing about their identity in Yoruba. Through structured practice and real-life examples, students will learn how to state their name, age, origin, family, and interests. Special focus will be given to the use of nouns, sentence construction, and translating personal details from English to Yoruba.
Learners will engage in speaking, writing, and comprehension exercises that enable them to express who they are, describe their family members, and talk about their pets and hobbies. The course ends with an interactive self-presentation and writing assessment.

2IDOMS
This course introduces learners to the rich and colorful world of Yoruba idioms (àkànlò èdè), showcasing how deep meanings are embedded in everyday expressions. Idioms are a powerful part of Yoruba culture, used to convey wisdom, humor, warning, and values. Through interactive examples, translation practice, and cultural interpretation, students will learn how to recognize, interpret, and use common idiomatic expressions.
By the end of this course, learners will improve their understanding of figurative language in Yoruba, gain cultural insight into Yoruba communication styles, and confidently use idioms in context.
